Norwescap Child & Family Resources hosted its 3rd Annual Fall Frolic in the Park at Sussex County Community College under the Pavilion on the Green. Families gathered to celebrate the season with pumpkin picking and painting, crafts, music, dancing, and opportunities to connect with local community resources.
Professor Vicki Vigorito, Program Coordinator for the Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education program, joined the festivities with her students, Amanda Mikalo, Laken Tate, and Kristen Cain, who facilitated engaging art activities and interacted directly with the children. Even members of the college’s security team joined in the fun, helping to make the event a joyful experience for everyone involved.

The Fall Frolic not only brought smiles to young participants but also offered SCCC education students valuable hands-on learning experiences, bridging classroom theory with real-world practice. Through this community-centered event, students deepened their understanding of child development while creating lasting memories for local families.
